Rise

Proverbs 24:16

Fall seven times.
Rise again.

The companion for Christian men in the fight for purity. Help in the moment it’s hard, grace after a fall, and everything stays on your phone.

Most men fight this alone, at night, in secret. The moment after a fall is when a man most needs grace, and when he’s least likely to find it. Rise was built for that moment.

SOS

Help is one tap away.

When it’s hard, open the SOS tab and press the button. Rise slows your breathing, puts Scripture in front of you, and walks you through the way out you chose yourself.

  • A breathing rhythm to steady you
  • Your battle plan, in your order
  • Nothing is logged unless you choose
SOS: one large breathing button that says I'm struggling right now.

Your allies

Never fight alone again.

Add up to five people who’ll pray when you text. One tap tells them you’re being tempted. Never why, never what. They don’t need the app.

  • Text or call an ally right from SOS
  • Messages go from your own phone
  • They only hear what you send
The battle plan on SOS, with buttons to text and call allies.

The dawn arc

Honest days count first.

A verse in the morning. Thirty seconds of truth at night. The arc fills gold when the day is done, and Rise counts the days you told the truth before the days you stood.

  • A daily verse, or your life verse
  • An evening check-in in thirty seconds
  • Discreet reminders, if you want them
Today: a life verse, the dawn arc filled gold, 23 days honest and 10 days clean.

Rise Again

After a fall, grace. Not shame.

The most important screen in the app. The sun comes back up, 1 John 1:9 reminds you He is faithful to forgive, and a short confession puts you back on your feet.

  • The clean count starts over
  • Your history is never erased
  • Every rise is part of the story
Rise Again: a rising sun, 1 John 1:9, and a short guided confession.

Patterns

See when it’s hardest.

Log a struggle in seconds. Rise reads the last two weeks back to you gently: the hours that are hardest, the feelings that come first, and one practical thing worth trying.

  • The dark hours, at a glance
  • What usually comes first
  • Suggestions, never verdicts
Patterns: two weeks of struggles by hour and feeling, with one suggestion.

The Armory

Hide the Word in your heart.

Scripture is what’s there when the phone isn’t. Memorize verses for the fight with gentle spaced repetition, alone or together with a friend.

  • Verses for the fight, ready to start
  • The Topical Memory System
  • Share a folder, memorize together
The Armory: a verse, your battle plan, and memory folders.

Verses in the Armory include 1 Timothy 4:7, Hebrews 2:18, Job 31:1, Psalm 119:11, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Lamentations 3:22–23, 1 John 1:9, Philippians 4:8, Galatians 5:16, and Matthew 5:8.

Private by design

Your story lives on your phone. Nowhere else.

The only things that ever leave your phone are messages you send yourself. Back it up to a file only your passphrase can open.

Day 1 The first people start their journey at launch. Counted from App Store downloads. Rise itself tracks no one.

Who makes Rise

Built by two men who believe mercy is bigger than your worst night.

Questions

Good questions, honest answers.

Is Rise really free?

Yes. No ads, no selling your data, and nothing you need when it’s hard will ever be behind a payment.

Can anyone see what I log?

No. Everything stays on your phone. There’s no account and no server holding your story, so not even we can see it. Your allies only get the short “I’m being tempted” text, and only when you send it.

Does Rise block websites or apps?

Not yet. Rise starts with what changes a heart: Scripture, honesty, and people. Optional guardrails are on our roadmap.

What happens when I fall?

Rise Again: the sun comes back up, a short guided confession, and your clean count starts over. Your history is never erased. A man who keeps rising is the whole story.

Do my allies need the app?

No. They get a normal text message from your phone.

Is Rise therapy?

No. Rise is a spiritual companion, not counseling or medical care. If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US).

The sun rose again.
So will you.
