Privacy policy
Rise is built so there’s almost nothing to say here. The app works entirely on your device.
What the app stores
Your name and life verse, your check-ins, logged struggles and victories, your folders and verse memory progress, your battle plan, your allies’ names and phone numbers, and your settings. All of it lives in the app’s own storage on your device. It is never sent anywhere, and we never see it.
Accounts
There are none. No sign-up, no email, no password.
Allies and SOS
When you tell the app you’re tempted, it opens your own Messages app with a short text written for you. Nothing is sent until you tap Send yourself, and it goes over your normal text messaging, not through us.
Reminders
Scheduled on your device by your phone’s own notification system. No server is involved, and the words on your lock screen never say what the app is for.
Backups
A backup is a file the app makes on your device, encrypted with a passphrase only you know. You choose where to save it (for example Files or iCloud Drive). We never receive it and can’t open it.
Sharing memory folders
Only by a message you send to someone yourself. Each person’s progress stays on their own phone.
Analytics and ads
None in the app: no tracking, no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers. This website counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you.
Scripture
Quotations in the app are from the ESV® and NASB®. The full copyright notices are at the bottom of the Armory screen.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and everything is gone. There’s no copy anywhere else, because there is no anywhere else. Backup files you saved yourself stay wherever you put them until you delete them.
